Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Jammu - Katra (60 kms / 1.5 hr)
On arrival at Jammu railway station proceed to Katra and check in at Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Jammu Residency.
Day 2: Katra
After an early breakfast proceed for VaishnoDevi temple for Darshan. After your pooja and Darshan, return to the hotel in evening and Overnight stay at Hotel Mount View.
Day 3: Katra - Srinagar (268 kms / 7 hours)
After breakfast our representative will transfer you to the Katra bus stand and 7/8 hours scenic drive will take you to Srinagar. At Srinagar bus stand, you will meet our representative and later transfer to Deluxe Houseboat. Overnight stay at Houseboat or Hotel Grand Mumtaz.
Day 4: Srinagar - Local sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty of this city. Have a view of some very interesting places around the Lake. Overnight stay at Houseboat or Hotel Grand Mumtaz.
Day 5: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar (168 Kms.)
After breakfast proceed for full day excursion of Sonmarg, one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Return to the houseboat by the evening .Overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 6: Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar (196 Kms.)
After breakfast proceed for full day excursion of Pahalgam - Valley of Shepherds. Enroute visit the famous Hindu Temple - Martand also known as Mattan & also visit saffron fields. Drive through pine forest. Later day free for shopping & Individual /leisure activities and enjoy the nature and river. Return to the houseboat by the evening .Overnight stay at Houseboat or Hotel Grand Mumtaz.
Day 7: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (112 Kms.)
After breakfast full day tour of Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. In the evening return to Houseboat. Overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 8: Srinagar
Early morning proceed to the Airport for onward destination.
